These leases had all been amended to allow time for the new lease agreement to be implemented. All of the leases will be for a 25 year term other than the SDSU lease which will be for 5 years per request of the Board of Regents. There is a new hangar for Unitec Development that also has a new lease for 25 years that will be need approval. (McLaughlin /Smidt) All present voted aye. MOTION CARRIED. Items #6 - Airport Manager's Updates - The PAPI's on Runway 30 are not working properly. Staff found the issue and feel that the fix should be easy and inexpensive. Due to the snowy weather on Monday, the airport was closed for a few hours. The Airport Conference will be in April and will be virtual this year. Those interested can sign-up or let Sommerfeld know and he will get them registered. There will not be a CIP meeting during the conference this year. All AIP projects for 2021 should be 100% covered through the Federal Covid Relief program. The seal coat project will be complete this summer. Probably later summer. The runway will need to be closed for the project and also the stripping following the project. Sommerfeld reviewed the fuel sales report. Numbers for January and February of this year are comparable to last year since COVID hadn't hit yet at this time last year. However, traffic is picking up and fuel sales will see an increase. Item #7 - Helm's Updates - No updates. Items #8 - SDSU Report - Riedesel reported that the Aviation program purchased another plane. Items #9 - FBO Report - Hanusa reported the March fuel sales.
