Additions to Agenda: Old Business: New Business: Discussion on student drop off traffic on Larkspur Ridge Drive west of Dakota Prairie School: Lanning provided a map of the Larkspur Ridge Drive area. She suggested inviting the Dakota Prairie principal to the next meeting. There is a sidewalk on the west side of Dakota Prairie School that connects to the sidewalk on Larkspur Ridge Drive. Complaints were received about students being dropped off near the Larkspur sidewalk and creating congestion in the roadway. Bartley has witnessed in the warmer months that traffic would back up on either side of the street. He stated that parents and students get out of vehicles on both sides of the street and the street area is not a designated area for drop off. Lanning thinks citizens may be using that area for drop offs because they may not want to use the entrance into the school for dropping students off. Bartley also stated it may be more convenient for the kids to get to the playground. He thought this would only be an issue in the warmer months due to the snow. The committee discussed a possible crosswalk and Lanning said a crosswalk might give the impression to a child they are safe on the crosswalk. Bartley suggested looking at removing part of the parking on east side of the road. Bartley/ Richard made the motion to table until the spring to witness this are being used. All present voted aye. Motion passed. 2 Update on 2019 Construction Projects Lanning updated the Traffic Safety Committee on upcoming projects, whi ch include:  22nd Avenue from Minnesota Drive to Eastbrook Drive: New curb and gutter, 8 foot wide bike/sidewalk on one side and 5 foot sidewalk on the other side, and five 11 foot lanes, storm sewer, underground utilities, street lighting and traffic signa ls.  8th Street South from 22nd Avenue to East of Medary: asphalt overlay  12th Street South from Medary to 22nd Avenue: asphalt overlay  8th Street from Medary to 20th Avenue: asphalt overlay  Map was passed out for chip sealing in July  20th Street South west of Main: on hold for now Review and approval of the 2018 Annual Traffic Safety Committee Report The committee discussed the annual report.
