BROOKINGS HOSPITAL AND BROOKVIEW MANOR
BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING
June 21, 2004
The Board of Trustees of the Brookings Hospital and Brookview Manor met in
special session on June 21, 2004, at 12:00 noon in Hospital Conference Rooms
A-B-C.
Present were: Dianna Evers; Rob Jones; Michelle Robbins; Chuck Blazey; Roberta
Olson; and Dave Johnson Administrator
Board members toured the living and dining room areas of Brookview Manor.
Lyla Olauson and Connie Woodring presented information about the difficulties
encountered at meal times for Brookview Manor residents in the somewhat
restricted dining room. Board members toured the living room noting where
expansion could occur to the south, and how a walkway from Brookhaven Estates
could be incorporated into the dining area with a new canopy and entry to the
nursing home. Following lunch, there was informal discussion about the
concept. There were no recommendations made nor action taken on any items.
This issue will be further discussed at the Thursday night Board meeting on
June 24, 2004.
