OFFICL4L MINUTES
1. Call to Order — Robert McGrath called the Board of Health meeting to order on
Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at the Landfill.
Committee Members present.- Dr. Merritt Warren, Robert McGrath, Trish
Matson-Buus, Robert Brotsky, Albert Patin, Paul Irwin, Mike Bartley and Dr.
Shelly Brandenburger.
Committee Members absent: Roberta Wagner
Others present: Todd Langland
2. Approve Agenda: (Matson-Buus/Brotsky) Motion to approve agenda.
All present voted aye. MOTION CARRIED.
3. Approval of Minutes: (Bartley/Matson-Buus) Motion to approve minutes for the
October 12, 2017 Minutes. All present voted aye. MOTION CARRIED.
4. Spring Clean up Recap: The Board of Health was presented the annual
clean up report for 2018. The comment was the cost of the program
continues to go up each year. Is there something we could do to help cut the
cost? I informed the board that the cost of person -hours and operational cost
goes up each years and this is the driving factor for the program cost to
increase.
5. Paint Exchange Recap: The Board of Health was presented the annual
Paint Exchange report for 2018. This program continues to be very successful.
6. CIP Review 2019: Director Langland reported to the board that the Capital
Improvement items are in the final stage of approval with the council reviewing
them.
7. Other Items & Reports: Director Langland reported that he would be attending the
Solid Waste state meetings in Pierre in September. If any members would like to attend,
there is money in the budget.
8. Next meeting date: The next meeting will be October 2018
9. Adjourn: (Patin/Brandenburger) Motion to adjourn.
All present voted aye. MOTION CARRIED
