C WHEREAS, The City of Brookings is authorizedt��rsusnt''to South

WHEREAS, the City of Brookings desires to annex the following
described property, to wit:
North 444 feet (444' ) of Outlot A in the SW1/4 of Section
20-T110H-R49W, County of Brookings, State of South Dakota
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguous to the present
boundaries of the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, a previoua Petition for Annexation of the above
described territory was filed and Resolution Ho. 62-91 was adopted;
however, it was later determined that said original Petition did not
contain the required number of voters' signaturea, and therefore a
subsequent petition was filed with the registered voters' and orrners'
signatures and therefore, this Resolution is intended to supersede
Resolution No. 62-91.
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition For
Annexation of Territory, dated December 23, 1991, signed by the owners
of greater than three-fourths (3/4) of the value of the aforesaid
property and greater than three fourths (3/4) of the legal voters
residing in said territory, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookings, South Dakota, that the
property described above is hereby annexed to the City of Brookings.
AND IT BE FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution cancels and sets
aside the annexation contained in Resolution Ho. 62-91, dated July
30, . 1991, as filed with the Register of Deeds in Miscellaneous Book
123, Page 804 on August 8, 1991. The City finance Officer and the
Register of Deeds are requested to designate said cancellation on the
records.
Passed and approved this 27th day of December, 1991.

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
We, the undersigned, Russell Arendsee, Donald Pike and Jackie
Bergjord Pike being the owner(s) of greater than three-fourths
(3/4ths) of the value of the hereinafter described land, or being
registered voters residing in said territory, and which land is
contiguous to the present boundaries of the City of Brookings, do
hereby petition to annex the following described property to the
City of Brookings, to wit:
North 444 feet of Outlot A in the SW; of Section 20-T110N-R49W
