RESOLUTION N0. 84-91
VACATION OF A PORTION OR AN EASEMENT
BLOCK 1, BOULEVARD PARK ADDITION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has been granted certain utility
easements in Block 1, Boulevard Park Addition to the City of Brookings
by virtue of a Final Plat entitled Plat of a portion of Boulevard Park
Addition to the City of Brookings, South Dakota and filed in Plat Book
12 , Page 86 and,
WHEREAS, Robb B. Sexauer and Dean Krogman, owners of the
adjoining property have petitioned the City of Brookings to vacate
portions of a certain easement previously granted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City
of Brookings that the present easement along and east and west of the
west property line of Lot 27, Block 1, Boulevard Park Addition be
reduced to include ten feet (10' ) east of the said property line and
fifteen feet (15' ) west of said property line for a total of
twenty-five feet (25' ) , and
FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution be f iled with the
Brookings County Register of Deeds and that said Register of deeds be
requested to mark upon the above referenced plat in Plat Book 12 , Page
86, the vacating of said portions of the easement and note reference
to the proper miscellaneous record.
