WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is owner of the fire crash truck
described as follows, to-wit:
1975 International Model 200 Fire Truck
Serial #E0350EHB34856
WHEREAS, the city has declared there is not valid purpose or
reason for retaining the vehicle and it is in the best interest of the
City to sell same, now therefore,
WHEREAS, the City will use the proceeds from the sale for
maintenance or construction on City Airport property.
BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the City of Brookings,
South Dakota, that the hereinbefore described vehicle shall be offered
for sale in accordance with the provisions of SDCL 9-27-19 to 9-27-28,
inclusive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following named persons are
hereby appointed as appraisers of the hereinbefore described property,
said persons being freeholders within the Municipality, to-wit:

Ma.rtin Bosch
Mark Foster

The cit� c: B:ookings and tl�e M�ricipal AirYcrt requests
that the maint�nance and operatiQn oE the Airpor� Rescue and
Fire vehicle �e discontinued . I'he Crash truck is a Z475
Internationa? cG0 Series, Serial Number E-Q350EHB�u856
The city will declare the truck surplus and sell at an
auction or sea'_ed bid. The funds will be distribut�d to the
Airport for us� on an airport pro�ect .
The AircLaf't Rescue and Fire Fighting Equipment
necessary fcr r'AR 13Q will be maintained through the use of
the city Fire Lepartment and Equipment as per page 5 para . A .
1 through 3, cr the Brookings Airport Operations Manual . The
fire departmen� will be at the Airport for any arriving or
departing airc:aft with over 30 seats . rhe response time to
an emergency a� the airport would be approximately 1Q to 15 - � ���
minutes if the Fire Department is not present for arrivals or
departures .
