WHEREAS, situations may arise which make it impossible for a
commissioner to attend regularly scheduled Commission meetings in
person, but will permit presence by conference telephone and,
WHEREAS, the Commission desires to provide for attendance by
phone conference under certain conditions, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that it shall be the policy of the City
Commission to permit attendance and voting at City Commission meetings
by City Commissioners who, for appropriate reasons cannot be present
in person, provided that each request shall require separate action by
the Commission and provided further that any expense thereof shall be
assumed by the Commissioner presenting said request.
