ESTABLISHING AN ESCROW ACCOUHT FOR THE HEW BROOKINGS LANDFILL
WHEREAS, it is required by the Solid Waste Permit conditions that
an escrow account be established for the closure, post-closure and
remedial aation for the Brookings Landfill, located on the East
one-half of Section 8, Township 110N and Range 49W:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that an escrow account be opened
at the First National Bank of Brookings; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amounts be as follows:
Closure 5 16, 145. 00
Post-closure 10, 676. 00
Remedial Action 7. 720. 00
S 34, 541. 00
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that accumulated interest from said
account will be credited and apportioned back to the three areae as
designated; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is required that the State of
South Dakota Department of Environment and Hatural Resources gives
prior approval of any expenditures from said funds.
