WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has identified the need for
economic development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings proposes to loan funds to Larson
acturin om a in o o meet the needs of the communit • and
Manuf g C p ny rder t y,
� WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is eligible for Federal assistance
for the proposed project; and
WHEREAS, With the submission of the CDBG application the City of
Brookings assures and certifies that all CDBG program requirements
will be fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has held the required public
hearing on January 14, 1992, at 2:00 PM for the Community Development
Block Grant;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brookings, on behalf
of Larson Manufacturing Company, duly authorizes the submission of the
CDBG application requesting 5205, 000. 00 of funds; and
THEBEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Orrin P. Juel, Mayor, be
authorized to execute the CDBG application for the City of Brookings,
to be effective immediately.
