WHEREAS, the City of Brookings, on behalf of Larson Manufacturing
Com an ex ects to be a reci ient of a Communit Develo ment Block

Grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development as administered by the State of South Dakota for an
economic development pro�ect; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is required to designate a
certifying officer for the purpose of signing required documents
pertaining to this grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Orrin P. Juel, Mayor for the
City of Brookings, be hereby designated as the City's official for the
purpose of eigning grant agreements, correspondence, contracts, pay
requests and other required documents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is required to designate an
environmental certifying officer for the purpose of signing required
environmental documents pertaining to this grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Orrin P. Juel be hereby
designated as the City's environmental certifying officer for the
purpose of signing correspondence and other required documents and
forms, to be effective immediately.
Passed and approved this 14th day of January, 1992.
