RESOLUTIOH AUTHORIZING CHAHGE ORDER N0. 2
FOR MUNICIPAL AIRPORT PROJECT A. I. P. 3-46-0005-08
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Commission that the following change
order be allowed for the Instrument Landing System Project Ho.
3-46-0005-08. This change order is to upgrade 48 foundations and to
change the remote monitoring system for the ILS. Both changes were
required by FAA.

Approval of this Change Order is contingent upon concurrence by
SDDOT and FAA.

You are hereby ordered to make the following change in the plans and/or
specifications for the above designated project.
1. Description of change to be made:
Chanqe I - Reconfiguration of Remote Monitoring - Reconfiqure from
commercial 1�IICI format to FAA ARMS format, supply and install
reconfiguration kit.
Chanqe II - Redesign and Installation of Upgraded Foundations -
Desiqn and install forty-eight (48) upgraded foundations. Install
foundations incorporating extra design safety factor requested by
FAA.
2. Reason for ordering change:
Chanqe I - FAA Request - Change requested to facilitate interface
to FAA maintenance processor system.
Change II - FAA Request - Upgrade foundations to incorporate
additional design safety factor beyond that dictated by local soil
conditions .
3. Settlement for the cost of the above change is to be made as follows:
Chanqe I - Increase in Contract value by $28,025.00.
Change II - Increase in Contract value by $18,201.00
4. This Change Order increases the contract time by 30 calendar days.
5. Summary of Costs
Total Contract Value prior to this Change Order: S1,011,633.00
Net increase of this Change Order $ 46.226.00
Revised Total Contract Value $ 1.057,859.00
NOTE: This order is not e fective until signed by the SDDOT and FAA.
