E,� WHEREAS, The City of Brookings is suthoriz'!�+d„ p�i'"r�eua�n�.�'�r;"South
a� Dakota Codified Law 9-4-1 to annex contiguous territo•r.y.•�up� -ireceipt
� of a written petition, describing said territory sough't to be annexed,
C7 signed by not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the legal voters and by
`� the owner or owners of not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the value
I � of said territory, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings desires to annex the folloping
described property, to wit:
Lot 1 Richard Price First Addition except that portion of Lot 1
Richard Price First Addition in the N 1/2 of N 1/2 Section 1
Township 109H Range 50W
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguous to the present
boundaries of the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition For
Annexation of Territory signed by the owners of greater than
three-fourths (3/4) of the value of the aforesaid property and there
being no legal voters residing in said territory, nop therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookings, South Dakota, that the
property described above is hereby annexed to the City of Brookings.
Passed and approved this 2nd day of June, 1992.
