RESOLUTIOH DECLARING THE HEED FOR ASSISTED HOUSIHG WITHIH THE
CITY OF BROOKIHGS FOR MEDIAN IHCOME PEOPLE
WHEREAS, there is a shortage of dwelling accommodations geared
for median income residents of the City of Brookings;
WHEREAS, there is a large number of individuals that do not
qualify for low income housing but can not afford market rate housing,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Commission of the
City of Brookings certifies the need to shift existing housing to
median income housing in the City of Brookings.
Passed and approved this 24th day of November, 1992.
