WHEREAS, the South Dakota Department of Transportation ie ceuaing
preparation of plans, data and information in accordance pith South
Dakota Department of Transportation guide line neceseary to the early
letting for conatruction of a Pro�ect P 3301 (2) pithin the City of
Brookings and,
WHEREAS, certain action on the part of the City becomes necesesry
to the subsequent construction of eaid pro�ect.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commiseion of the City of
Brookings, Duly aseembled this 30th day of March, 1993 that the City
will move end/or ad�ust or pill cause to be moved and/or ed�usted, any
and all utilitiea, Mhether publicly or privately oaned, lying in the
path of or conflicting Mith the construction of said pro�ect Nithin
the limits of said city.
(1 ) The movea and/or ad�uetmenta Mill be accompliehed at no coet
to the Stete of South Dakota and rill be coordinated Mith
the construction of eaid pro�ect.
(2) The utilities referred to in thia resolution does not
include railrosds or railroad facilities.
(3) The City Finence Officer is hereby directed to mail a copy
of this resolution, showing his/her signature and that of
the Mayor to the Regional Transportation Engineer, Mr. Larry
Afdahl, Aberdeen, South Dakote, and to the Utilitiee
Engineer, Department of Transportation, Mr. Orville W. Gran
of Pierre, South Dakota.
