WHEREAS, the South Dakota Department of Traneportation ie caueing
preparation of plans, data and information in accordance rith South
Dakota Department of Transportation guide line necessary to the early
letting for conetruction of a Pro�ect P 3317( 1) aithin the City of
Brookings and,
WHEREAS, certain action on the part of the City becomes neceesery
to the eubsequent conatruction of said pro�ect.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commiesion of the City of
Brookings, Duly assembled this 30th day of Merch, 1993 that the City
will move and/or ad�uet or rill cause to be moved and/or ad�usted, any
and all utilities, phether publicly or privately oMned, lying in the
path of or conflicting Nith the construction of said pro�ect rithin
the limits of said city. '
(1) The moves end/or ed�ustmenta Mill be accompliehed at no cost
to the State of South Dakota and Nill be coordinated Mith
the construction of said pro�ect.
(2) The utilities referred to in thie reeolution does not
include railroads or railroad facilities.
(3) The City Finance Officer is hereby directed to mail a copy
of this reaolution, shoMing his/her eignatur� and that of
the Mayor to the Regional Tranaport�tion Engineer, Mr. Lerry
Afdahl, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and to the Utilities
Engineer, Department of Trensportation, Mr. Orville W. Gran
of Pierre, South Dakota.
Passed and approved thie 30th day of March, 1993.
