WHEREAS, on the 13th day of April 1993, there aae held in the
City of Brookings, South Dakota, an election for the purpose of
electing a Mayor for a term of three years, and
WHEREAS, the �udgee and clerks of esid election hav� returned to
the City Commission of the City of Brookings the official results for
the purpose of the official canvass; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners on April 20, 1993 has
canvassed the resulte for the purpoee of determining Mho are the
elected officials;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED By the City Commiaeion of
the City of Srookings, South Dakota, that the official vote at the
annual City Election held April 13, 1993 Nas as follore:

Wayne A. Hauechild 409 394 626 586 520 2535
Dan Kippley 130 119 218 279 270 1016
Total Votes 539 513 844 865 790 3551
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED That Wayne A. Hauschild is hereby elected
as Meyor of the City of Brookinge for a term of three years, and that
the City F'inance Officer is hereby directed to issue a certificate of
election to Wayne A. Hauschild as duly elected Mayor.
Passed and approved this 20th day of April, 1993.
