WHEREAS, the City of Brookings, on behalf of Brookings Area
Development Corporation, expects to be a recipient of a Community
Development Bloak Grant from the United States Department of Housing
and Urban Development as administered by the State of South Dakota for
an economic development project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is required to deeignate a
certifying officer for the purpose of signing required documents
pertaining to this grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor for the City of
Brookings be hereby designated as the City's official for the purpose
of signing grant agreements, correspondence, contracts, pay requests
and other required documents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is required to designate an
environmental certifying officer for the purpoae of signing required
environmental documents pertaining to this grant;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Wayne Hauachild be hereby
designated as the City's environmental certifying officer for the
purpose of signing correspondence and other required documents and
forms, to be effective immediately.
