SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR AN U. S. ECOHOMIC DEVELOPMEHT ADMINISTRATION

E EAS the Cit of Brookin s has identified the need for an

Economic Development Administration Grant; and
� WHEREAS, funds are not being applied for from FEMA or any other
Federal Agency; and
WHEREAS, this pro�ect will provide both ahort and long term
relief due to Nesther related disaster; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings, in order to serve an expanding
industry, is proposing to serve the industrial park pith serer,
electrical, water, and road construction; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings ia eligible for Federal assistance
for the proposed pro�ect; and
WHEREAS, Nith the submisaion of the Economic Development
Administration grant application, the City of Brookings assures and
certifies that all program requirements will be fulfilled;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Commission of Brookinga
does hereby suthorize the submission of an Economic Development
Administration grant application requesting funds for such above
described pro�ect.
THEREROI?E, BE IT ALSO RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to
execute the application for the City of Brookings.
