WHEREAS, the City of Brookings proposes to close the old city
landfill as required by state and federal regulations, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is eligible for state assistance
for the proposed project, and
WHEREAS, With the submission of the Solid Waste Management Grant
application, the City of Brookings assures and certifies that all
Solid Waste Management Grant Program requirements will be fulfilled,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brookinga duly authorized the
submisaion of the Solid Waste Management Grant application, and
BE IT RESOLVED that Wayne Hauschild. Mayor,. be authorized to
execute the Solid Waste Management Grant application for the City of
Brookings.
Passed and approved this 21st day of September, 1993.
