ESTABLISHING ANNUAL SALABIES AHD BONDS OF THE
ELECTED OFFICIALS AHD APPOINTED OFFICERS
OF THE CITY OF BBOOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Commissioners of the City of
Brookings, South Dakota, that the annual salaries of the elected
officials and appointed officers of the City of Brookings, effective
January 1, 1994 shall be as folloas:
POSITION SALARY
Attorney 531, 500
Commissioners 8, 500
Engineer 52, 500
Finance Officer 44, 496
F'ire Chief 40, 768
Deputy Health Officer 36, 932
L.iquor Store Manager 31, 200
Mayor 13, 500
Park & Recreation Director 41, 378
Park & Recreation Director receives 52, 100
per annum for use of personal vehicle
Police Chief 40, 734
Police Chief receives 52, 100 per annum
for use of pereonal vehicle
Street Superintendent 35, 633
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED That all elected and appointed officiale,
board membere, and designated employees of the City of Brookings in
the various Departments shall be covered by the blanket official bond,
conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of their
position, and to account, pay over, and deliver all money or property
coming into their hands by virtue of their position according to laM,
in the sum of 85, 000 for each such official, board member, designated
employee, Mayor and Commissioners, and that the bond of the City
F'inance Officer is in such amount as provided by Section 9-14-6. 1 of
SDCL and acts amendatory thereto; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED That the salary scale and longevity pay of
all employees under the �uriediction of the City Commission shall be
approved by Resolution for the year 1994; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED That the pay period �rill be the last day
of each month.
