ESTABLISHING AHHUAL SALARIES AND BOHDS OF THE
ELECTED OFFICIALS AND APPOIHTED OFFICERS
OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA
BE IT RESOLVED By the City Commissioners of the City of
Brookings, South Dakota, that the annual salaries of the elected ,
officials and appointed officers of the City of Brookings, effective
January 1, 1995 shall be as folloas:
POSITION SALARY

Commissioners 8, 840
Director of Solid Waste Management 38, 409
Engineer 54, 600
Finance Officer 46, 721
Fire Chief 41, 991
Human Resource Officer 35, 970
Liquor Store Manager 32, 448
Mayor 14, 040
Park & Recreation Director 43, 033
Park & Recreation Director receives 52, 100
per annum for use of personal vehicle
Police Chief 43, 178
Police Chief receives 82, 100 per annum
for uee of personal vehicle
Street Superintendent 37, 058
FURTHER BE IT RESO[.VED That all elected and appointed officials,
board members, and designated employees of the City of Brookings in
the various Departments shall be covered by the blanket official bond,
conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of their
position, and to account, pay over, and deliver all money or property
coming into their hands by virtue of their position according to law,
in the sum of S5, 000 for each such official, board member, designated
employee, Mayor and Commissioners, and that the bond of the City
Finance Officer is in such amount as provided by Section 9-14-6. 1 of
SDCL and acts amendatory thereto; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED That the salary scale and longevity pay of
all employees under the jurisdiction of the City Commission ehall be
approved by Resolution for the year 1995; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED That the pay period aill be the last day
of each month.
