of said territory, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookinga desires to annex the following
deecribed property, to-wit:
the N960', W990' of the NE1/4 of Section 34-T110N-R50W and E264'
of the N1/2, NW1/4 of Section 34-T110N-R50W
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguoue to the preaent
boundaries of the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition for
Annexation of Territory signed by the orrners of greater than
three-fourths (3/4) of the value of the eforesaid property and three
fourths (3/4) of the legal regiatered votera residing in seid
territory,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookinga, South
Dakota; that the property described above is hereby annexed to the
City of Brookings.

RESOLUTION N0. 123-94
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is suthorized pursusnt to South
Dakota Codified Lar 9-4-1 to annex contiguous territory upon receipt
of a written petition, describing said territory sought to be annexed,
signed by not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the legal voters and by
the ov►ner or ovrners of not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the value
of said territory, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings desirea to annex the folloring
described property, to-rit:
the H960'. W990' of the NE1/4 of Section 34-T110H-R50W and E264'
of the N1/2, HWl/4 of Section 34-T110H-R50W
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguoua to the preaent
boundaries of the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition for
Annexation of Territory signed by the oMners of greater than
three-fourths (3/4) of the value of the aforesaid property and three
fourths (3/4) of the legal registered voters residing in said
