A RESOLUTION ACCEPTIHG THE TRAHSFER OF JURISDICTIOH OF A PORTION
OF COUNTY HIGHWAY 26A
WHEREAS, the Brookinga County Board of County Commisaionera
deaires to make certain changes to the Brookings County HighMay System
by transferring the Jurisdiction of a Portion of Brookings County
HighNay �26A to the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, it appears that such propoaed change to the Brookinge
County Highray Syetem will be in the best interests of the City of
Brookings,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookinge that the City
of Brookings accept �uriediction over the folloring described portion
of Brookings County HighMay �26A:
Commencing at the point phere Brookinge County HighMay �26A meets
22nd Avenue South in the City of Brookings, South Dakota, thence
south to the intersection of Hrookinge County Highray �26A and
Brookings County HighMay �26, a diatance of approximately one ti)
mile.
AHD BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this street be added to the
Functional Claesification Map of the City of Brookinga as e MIHOR
ARTERIAL.

A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE
BROOKINGS COUNTY HIGHWAY SYSTEM
BY TRANSFERRING JURISDICTION OF A
PORTION OF COUNTY HIGHWAY 26A
� TO THE CITY OF BROOKINGS
WHEREAS, the Brookings County Board of County
Commissioners desires to make certain changes to the Brookings
County Highway System by transferring the Jurisdiction of a
Portion of Brookings County Highway #26A to the City of Brookings,
and
WHEREAS, it appears that such proposed change to the
Brookings County Highway System will be in the best interests of
Brookings County,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brookings County
Board of County Commissioners, that the following described
portion of Brookings County Highway #26A be deleted from the
Brookings County Highway System and jurisdiction thereof
transferred to the City of Brookings, South Dakota:
Commencing at the point where Brookings County Highway
#26A meets 22nd Avenue South in the City of Brookings,
South Dakota, thence south to the intersection of
Brookings County Highway #26A and Brookings County
Highway #26, a distance of approximately one ( 1) mile.
