WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has identified the need for
economic development, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings proposes to construct a railroad
spur in the Brookings Airport Industrial Park in order to serve
Rainbor Play Systems end meet the economic development needs of the
community, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookinge is eligible for Federal assistance
for the proposed pro�ect; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has held the required public
hearing on July 26, 1994, at 7:30 p. m. ; and
WHEREAS, Mith the submission of the CDBG application the City of
Brookings assures and certifies thet all CDBG program requirements
will be fulfilled; and
THEREF'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Brookings duly
suthorizes the Mayor to sign the CDBG application requesting up to
8100, 000 of funde.
This resolution is effective immediately upon paseage.
