WHEREAS, The City of Brookings is suthorized pursuant to South
Dakota Codified LaN 9-4-1 to annex contiguoue territory upon receipt
of a aritten petition, describing said territory eought to be annexed,
aigned by not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the legal voters and by
the ovner or orners of not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the value
of said territory, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings desires to annex the folloMing
described property, to rit:
the E300' of the S280' of the H940' and the 51700' of the SE1/4
of Section 1-T109N-R50W (old City Landfill)
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguous to the preeent
boundaries of the City of Brookinga, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition For
Annexation of Territory signed by the orners of greater than
three-fourths t3/4> of the value of the aforesaid property and there
being no legal voters residing in said territory, noM therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookings, South Dakota, that the
property deacribed above is hereby ennexed to the City of Brookinge.
Passed and approved thia 12th day of July, 1994.

property described above ia hereby annexed to the City of Brookings.
