DESIGNATING MAY 8 THROUGH MAY 14, 1994 AS SEVERE WEATHER
AWARENESS WEEK IH THE CITY OF BROOKINGS
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is susceptible to dangerous spring
and eummer storms that pose a threat to the citizens of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings recognizes the need of the
citizens of Brookings to be prepared for the threats these dangerous
storms pose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the
City of Brookings declares the reek of May 8 through Msy 14, 1994 se
Severe Weather Arar�nese Week.
