WHEREAS, on October 3, 1983 the City issued its Economic
Development Revenue Bonds (the "Bonds" ), Series 1983 tDaktronice,
Inc. , Pro�ect) ; and
WHEREAS, the City hae received from Daktronica, Inc. a request
for redemption and payment in full of the Bonde as of March 21, 1994;
and
WHEREAS, pureuant to Section 305 of the Trust Ind�nture dated es
of Auguat 1, 1983 (the "indenture" ) in conncction Mith the isauence of
the Bonds provid�s for the City to iesue a Notice of Redemption upon
requeat by the Company; and
WHEREAS, the Indenture containa certain requirements of notice to
the trustee and to the holder of the Bonda, all of rhich notices hav�
been Maived by the trustee and the bondholdere, s copy of Mhich
rsivers are on file in the office of the City Financ� Officer;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Commiseion acknoMledgee the redemption
of the BondB as of March 21, 1993 and hereby dir�cts the City Finance
Officer of the City of Brookinge to issue a Notice of Redemption in
substantielly the form of Exhibit A attached hereto, and file a copy
thereof in the City records and to take such other stepe ae ere
required on the part of the City to effectuate the redemption of the
Bonds.
