WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is authorized pureuant to South
Dakota Codified La� 9-4-1 to annex contiguous territory upon receipt
of a rritten petition, describing said territory sought to be annexed,
signed by not less than three-fourths (3/4) of the legal voters and by
the oaner or owners of not lesa than three-fourths t3/4) of the value
of said territory, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings deaires to annex the folloring
described property, to-pit:
the SW 1/4 of Section 6, T109H, R49W; the E300' of the N660' of
the SE 1/4 of Section 1, T109N, R50W; and the E300 of the SE 1/4
of the NE 1/4 of Section 1, T109N, R50W excluding the platted
areas thereof
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguous to the present
boundariee of the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition for
Annexation of Territory signed by the owners of greater than
three-fourths (3/4) of the value of the aforesaid property and three
fourths (3/4) of the legal registered voters residing in said
territory,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookings, South
Dakota, that the property described above is hereby annexed to the
City of Brookinge.
AHD BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Reaolution cancels and sets
aside the annexation contained in Resolution No. 40-94, dated April
12, 1994.
Passed and approved thie 19th day of April, 1994.

T109N, R50W excluding the platted areas thereof
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguous to the present
boundaries of the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition for
Annexation of Territory signed by the orners of greater than
three-fourths t3/4) of the value of the aforesaid property and there
being no legal voters residing in seid territory,
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookings, South
Dakota, that the property described above ia hereby annexed to the
City of Brookings.
