WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is authorized pcirs�iant to �sorafft�:

WHEREAS, the City of Brookings desires to annex the folloring

T109N, R50W; and the E300; of the SE 1/4, HE 1/4 of Seciton 1,
T109N, R50W excluding the platted areas thereof
WHEREAS, the aforesaid land is contiguous to the present
boundaries of the City of Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has received a Petition for
Annexation of Territory signed by the ownera of greater than
three-fourths (3/4) of the value of the aforesaid property and there
being no legal voters residing in said territory,
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookings, South
Dakota, that the property described above is hereby annexed to the
City of Brookings.

RESOLUTION NO. 40-94
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is suthorized pursuant to South
Dakota Codified LaM 9-4-1 to annex contiguous territory upon receipt
of a rritten petition, describing esid territory sought to be annexed,
signed by not less than three-fourthe (3/4) of the l�gal voters and by
the oMner or oMners of not less than three-fourthe (3/4) of the value
of said territory, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookinge desires to annex the folloMing
described property, to-Mit:
the SW 1/4 of Section 6, T109N, R49W; the SE 1/4 of Sect#on 1,
T109N, R50W; and the E300; of the SE 1/4, NE 1/4 of S�c�ton 1,
T109N, R50W excluding the platted areae thereof
