RESOLUTIOH TO LEASE REAL PROPERTY TO PRIVATE PERSON
BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the City of Brookings,
South Dakota, that the City of Brookings intends to enter into a Lease
aith DAVID VOSTAD for a period of three t3) yesrs, Nith a tMo (2)
year option to rener, commencing April 1, 1994 and ending December 31,
1999, and pertaining to the folloMing described property:
The designated farmland on the Brookings Landfill, East 1/2 of
Section 8, Aurora ToMnship, Brookings County, South Dakota.
The Lease aill be an amount of Forty One Dollars and TMenty-Six
Cents per tillable acre (541. 26), and Eleven Dollars and Thirty-One
Cents (511. 31) first year and Sixteen Dollars and TMenty-Six Cents
(516. 26) annually per future hayland acre payable first third on April
ist, second third on September ist, and the final third on December
lst, of each year. Either party may give a sixty (60) day notice
prior to the termination of the Lease to terminate said Lease
Agreement, and the City for Brookings may terminate thie lease Mith
ninety (90) day notice in the event a parcel of the above described
property is to be sold by the City of Brookings.

Nith WEHDELL TELKAMP for a period of three (3) years Nith a tMo (2)
year option to renea, commencing April 1, 1994 and ending December 31,
1999, and pertaining to the following described property.
The designated farmland on the Brookinge Landfill, East 1/2 of
Section 8, Aurora Toanship, Brookings County, South Dakota.
The Lease Mill be in the amount of Thirty-TMo Dollars and
Trenty-Five Cente (832. 25) per tillable acre, Taenty-Seven Dollars and
Seventy-Five Cents (527. 75) per pasture acre payable first third on
April lst, second third on September let, and final third on December
ist, of each year. Either party may give a sixty (60) day notice prior
to the termination of the Lease to terminate said Lease Agreement, and
the City of Brookinge may terminate this lease aith ninety (90) day
notice in the event a parcel of the above described property is to be
sold by the City of Brookings.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ADOPTIOH OF RESOLUTIOK OF IHTEHT
TO LEASE REAL PROPERTY TO PRIVATE PERSON
HOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEH that on March 29, 1994 at 2:00 o'clock
P. M. the Brookings City Commission will hold a public hearing at the
City Commission Chambers on the Resolution of Intent of the City of
Brookings to lease to Wendell Telkamp and David Vostad the following
described property:
The designated farmland on the Brookings Landfill, East 1/2 of
Section 8, Aurora Township, Brookings County, South Dakota.
At the time and place affixed for said public hearing, all who
appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or
against the proposal to lease the above described property to DAVID
VOSTAD AMD WEHDALL TELKAMP.
