HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 35-1994� . � RESOLUTIOH NO. 35-94 RESOLUTIOH OF IHTEHT TO LEASE REAL PROPERTY TO PRIVATE PERSON BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, that the City of Brookings intends to enter into a Lease with DAVID VOSTAD for a period of three (3) years, with a two (2) year option to renew, commencing April 1, 1994 and ending December 31, 1999, and pertaining to the following described property: The designated farmland on the Brookings Landfill, East 1/2 of Section 8, Aurora Township, Brookings County, South Dakota. The Lease will be an amount of Forty One Dollars and Twenty-Six Cents per tillable acre (�41. 26), and Eleven Dollars and Thirty-One Cente (511. 31 ) first year and Sixteen Dollare and Twenty-Six Cents ($16. 26) annually per future hayland acre payable first third on April lst, second third on September lst, and the final third on December lst, of each year. Either party may give a sixty (60) day notice prior to the termination of the Lease to terminate said Lease Agreement, and the City for Brookings may terminate this lease with ninety (90> day notice in the event a parcel of the above described property is to be sold by the City of Brookings. BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the City of Brookings, South Dakota, that the City of Brookings intends to enter into a Lease with WEHDELL TELKAMP for a period of three (3l years With a two (2) year option to renew, commencing April 1, 1994 and ending December 31, 1999, and pertaining to the following described property. The designated farmland on the Brookings Landfill, East 1/2 of Section 8, Aurora Township, Brookings County, South Dakota. The Lease will be in the amount of Thirty-Two Dollars and Twenty-Five Cents (832. 25) per tillable acre, Twenty-Seven Dollars and Seventy-Five Cents (527. 75) per pasture acre payable firet third on April ist, second third on September ist, and final third on December lst, of each year. Either party may give a sixty (60) day notice prior to the termination of the Lease to terminate said Lease Agreement, and the City of Brookings may terminate this lease with ninety (90) day notice in the event a parcel of the above described property is to be sold by the City of Brookings. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Public Hearing on this Resolution shall be held on March 29, 1994 at 2:00 o'clock P. M. the Brookings City Commission will hold a public hearing at the City Commission Chambere on the Resolution of Intent of the City of Brookings to lease to Wendell Telkamp and David Vostad the folloring described property: The designated farmland on the Brookings Landfill, East 1/2 of Section 8, Aurora Township, Brookings County, South Dakota. At the time and place affixed for said public hearing, all who appear will be given an opportunity to express their views for or against the proposal to lease the above described property to DAVID VOSTAD AHD WEHDALL TELKAMP.
