STP-URBAH SYSTEM PRIORITY LIST
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has designated certain streets to
be included in the STP-Urban System of Streets as defined by the
SDDOT; and
WHEREAS, the SDDOT has designated certain funds, Federal and
State to be used for construction, reconstruction and ma�or repair of
the STP-Urban System Streets; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has been requested to establish a
priority list of projects to be considered for funding by the SDDOT;
HOW, THEREFORE, the City of Brookings hereby resolves that the
following projects be considered in the order listed:
1. Fifth Street South from Medary Avenue South to Elm Avenue
2. Fifth Street South from Main Avenue South to Seventh Avenue
South
3. Western Avenue from Sixth Street to the DME Railroad
Crossing
4. Twenty-second Avenue South from Eighth Street South to
Twentieth Street South
5. Construct traffic signals at Third Street and Fifth Avenue
6. Construct four lane street on Twentieth Street South from
Main to Medary
7. Construct four lane street on Twentieth Street South from
Medary to Twenty-Second Avenue
8. Construct Medary Avenue South from Fifteenth Street South to
Twentieth Street South
This Resolution supersedes Resolution Ho. 35-93, dated April 20,
1993.
Passed and approved this 22nd day of February, 1994.
