BRIDGE REINSPECTION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Paragraph 144 of Title 23, USC requires initial
inspection of all bridges and reinspection at intervals not to exceed
two years.
THEREFORE, the City of Brookings, South Dakota, requests the
SDDOT to hire Banner Associates, Inc. , (Consulting Engineers) of
Brookings for the reinspection work. The SDDOT will secure Federal
approvals, make payments to the consulting engineer for inspection
services rendered, and bill the city for 20% of the cost. The City of
Brookings, South Dakota, will be responsible for the required 20%
matching funds.
There is a total of four (4) bridgea in the City of Brookings,
South Dakota, that require inspection.
