WHEREAS, the South Dakota Department of Transportation ie causing
preparation of plans, data and information in accordance Mith South
Dakota Department of Transportation guidelines neceseary to the early
letting for construction of Pro�ects P3245(6) PCEMS 4526, P3333(4)
PCEMS 4525, P3354(3) PCEMS 4528, P3354(2) PCEMS 4523 AHD P3368( 1)
PCEMS 481S within the City of Brookings and,
WHEREAS, certain action on the part of the City becomes necessary
to the subsequent construction of said pro�ect.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Commission of the City of
Brookings, Duly asBembled this 28th day of February, 1995 that the
City will move and/or adjust or will cause to be moved and/or
' adjusted, any and all utilities, whether publicly or privately orned,
lying in the path of or conflicting with the construction of said
pro�ect �ithin the limits of said city.
( 1 ) The moves and/or ad�uetments aill be accomplished at no cost
to the State of South Dakota and Nill be coordinated Nith
the construction of said project.
(2) The utilities referred to in this resolution do not include
railroads or railroad facilities.
(3) The City Finance Officer is hereby directed to mail a copy
of this resolution, showing his/her eignature and that of
the Mayor to the Regional Transportation Engineer, Mr. Larry
Afdahl, Aberdeen, South Dakota, and to the Utilities
Engineer, Department of Transportation, Mr. Orville W. Gran
of Pierre, South Dakota.
Passed and approved this 28th da of Februsry, 1995.
