WHEREAS, on the 1 lth day of April, 1995, there was held in the City of Brookings,
South Dakota, an election for the purpose of electing one Commissioner for a term of five years
and one Commissioner for a term four years, and
WI�REAS, the judges and clerks of said election have returned to the City Commission
of the City of Brookings the official results for the purpose of the official canvass;
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners on April 18, 1995 have canvassed the results
for the purpose of determining who are the elected officials;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Brookings, South Dakota, that the official vote at the annual City/School Election held April 11,
1995 was as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Phillip E. Plumart is hereby elected as City
Commissioner of the City of Brookings for a term of four years and Samuel D. Artz is hereby
elected as City Commissioner of the City of Brookings for a term of five years, and that the City
Finance Officer is hereby directed to issue a certificate of election to Phillip E. Plumart and
Samuel D. Artz as duly elected Commissioners.
Passed and approved this 18th day of April, 1995.
