A RESOLUTION APPORTIONING AND ASSIGI�TING SPECIAL DUTIES FOR THE
MAYOR AND CITY COMNIISSIONER:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Brookings:
That Wayne A. Hauschild, in addition to the duties provided by law as Mayor shall under
his special charge and supervision the Municipal Liquor Store, Ex-officio member Economic
Development Center Board and City Airport Board, liaison to the Mayor's Advisory Committee
for People with Disabilities, Cable TV Review Board, and member of the Insurance Committee
and all matters pertaining thereto.
That Samuel Artz, in addition to the duties provided by law as Public Works
Commissioner, shall have under his special charge and supervision of the Street Department, Solid
Waste Department, Solid Waste Committee, liaison to the Board of Health, Ex-officio member of
the Park and Recreation Board and all matters pertaining thereto.
That Phillip E. Plumart, in addition to the duties provided by law as Finance and Revenue
Commissioner, sha11 have under his special charge and supervision the Finance Office, liaison to
the Library Board, Historic Preservation Commission, Human Rights Committee, Joint
Municipal-County Housing Redevelopment Commission, Ex-officio members of the Senior
Citizen Center Nutrition Site Council as a voting member, voting member of the First District
Association of Local Governments, and Ex-officio member of the Hospital Board and all matter
pertaining thereto.
That Emil Klavetter, in addition to the duties provided by law as Public Utilities
Commissioner shall have under his special charge and supervision the City Engineering
Department, Utility Board, City Planning Commission, liaison to the Board of Adjustment and a11
matters pertaining thereto.
That Barbara Muna, in addition to the duties provided by law as Public Safety
Commissioner shall have under her special charge and supervision the Police and Fire
Departments, City Emergency and Disaster Services, and the Human Resource Office, Ex-officio
member of the Traffic Safety Committee and a11 matters pertaining thereto.
