BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SOUTH DAKOTA:
WHEREAS, Vision Developers, Inc., owner of Tract"C", of Lot 3, Southbrook Addition,
have submitted to the governing board an application for a Conditional Use Pernut for a
wholesale trade, assembling and packaging, freight handling and light manufacturing.
WHEREAS, the following conditions have been stipulated as being part of the Conditional
Use Permit application:
Conditional Uses recommended by the Planning Commission
1. Wholesale Trade
2. Assembling and Packaging
3. Freight Handling(warehousing purposes only)
4. Manufacturing, Light
Conditions required by the Planning Commission
1. No exterior unfenced storage
2. No encroachment on property lines (setbacks will be maintained)
3. No increase in noise
4. No change in landscaping, except as necessary for longevity
5. No decrease in parking lot lighting or maintenance
6. No exterior renovation except a door,dock,window or dock enclosures as required
7. No decrease in lawn areas
8. No additional street accesses
9. No building additions, other than minor changes (number 6), would meet codes, conform
to current appearance and meet a11 setback requirements
10. A regular common carrier freight handling facility would not be allowed
11. The Conditional Use sha11 be granted to Vision Developers only
12. The Conditional Uses shall be established within five (5) years from the date of approval
by the City Commission after which time the Conditional Use permit shall expire
13. The Conditional Uses shall not exceed fifty percent (50%) of the gross floor area of the
University Mall
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Conditional Use Permit is hereby
approved.
