ISSUING BUII.,DING PERMIT TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY ON LOT 154,
ONAKA VILLAGE AT NO CHARGE
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is pleased to recognize the efforts of Habitat for
Humanity in the Community, and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings recognizes the need for affordable housing for the
citizens of Brookings;
NOW, TF�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the governing body of the City of
Brookings hereby waives the building permit fee for the house to be constructed under the
auspices of Habitat for Humanity on Lot 154, Onaka Village.
Passed and approved this 24th day of October, 1995.

Dear Greg,
The local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity is in the process
of finalizing the plans to build their first house in
Brookings . It will be located on lot 154 , Onaka Village ,
Indian Hills .
As you know. these houses are built with mostly volunteer
labor and also with some donated materials and services.
With this letter we are asking the City of Brookings to issue
the Building Permit to us without charge .
