ESTABLISHING ANNUAL SALARY AND BOND
OF THE ELECTED OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF BROOKINGS, SD
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Brookings, S.D., that the
annual salaries of the elected officials of the City of Brookings effective January 1, 1997, shall be
as follows:
POSITION SALARY
Commissioners $ 9,540
Mayor $ 15,150
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that a11 elected and appointed officials, board members,
and designated employees of the City of Brookings in the various departments shall be covered by
the blanket official bond conditioned upon faithful performance of the duties of their position to
account, pay over, and deliver a11 money or property coming into their hands by virtue of their
position according to the law and that a commercial crime policy which contains a$250,000
blanket bond coverage which is provided for each official, board member, designated employee,
Mayor, Commissioners, and City Finance Officer as provided by Section 9-14-6.1 of the SDCL
amendatory thereto; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the pay period will be the last day of each month.
