RESOLUTION NO. 59-96
WHEREAS, a petition to vacate has been filed with the City Finance Office of the City of
Brookings, and
WHEREAS, the petition was filed in proper form and signed by one hundred percent of
the adjacent property owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of City Commissioners of the
City of Brookings:
That the portion of Briarwood, located between Yorkshire Drive and Centennial
Drive is hereby vacated subject to an easement for all utilities retained over, on and
under the south ten (10) feet, the north ten(10) feet of the south two hundred
ninety five and si�een one hundredth(295.16) feet, and the west ten(10) feet of
the south two hundred ninety five and sixteen one hundredth (295.16) feet of the
portion of Briarwood being vacated.
Passed and approved this 16th day of July 1996.

NOTICE is further given that said request will be acted on by the City Commission at 2:00
P.M. on Tuesday, July 16, 1996 in the Commission Chambers in the lower level of City Hall,
Brookings, South Dakota.
