AMENDING PERSONNEL POLICY
WHEREAS a comprehensive personnel policy governing the managerial, organizational
and operational affairs of the City of Brookings employees has been adopted by the Brookings
City Commission.
WHEREAS the Commission finds that amendments to certain policies as set forth in said
statement should be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brookings City Commission that the
personnel policy be amended as follows:
Article VIII Employee Benefits
S. Travel
4. The City of Brookings has City owned vehicles available for travel;
� however, employees have the discretion of using their own vehicles for
travel. Employees using their private vehicle for City travel shall be
reimbursed for the actual miles traveled at $0.30 per mile.
Reimbursement for meals shall be as follows:
In-State: Breakfast - $ 5.00
Lunch - $ 7.00
Dinner - $12.00
Out-of-State: Breakfast - $ 6.00
Lunch - $ 9.00
Dinner - $15.00
