� RESOLUTION NO. 32-96
WHEREAS, the Brookings City Commission has authorized Mayor Wayne Hauschild to
execute and file a preapplication on behalf of the City of Brookings with the Economic
Development Administration, U.S. Department of Commerce, to aid in the financing of the Ag
Research Complex Project and
WHEREAS, other funding sources are being sought to fund the proposed Ag Complex.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Brookings that Wayne
Hauschild, Mayor, is hereby authorized to sign an application for low interest USDA(L7nited
States Department of Agriculture) rural development loans, for use in the proposed Ag Complex.
Passed and approved this 30th day of April, 1996.

RESOLUTION NO. 63-95
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FII.ING OF PREAPPLICATION WITH'THE ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT ADNIlNISTRATION, US DEPARTMENT OF COMN�RCE, iJNITED
STATES OF AMERICA, FOR GRANTING OF THE TERMS OF PUBLIC LAW 89-136
WHEREAS, under the terms of public law 89-136, as amended, the United State of
American has authority to make grants to public bodies and private non-profit organizations or
associations to aid in financing the construction of specific projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings has identified the need for an Economic Development
Administration Grant in order to assist in the construction of the Ag Research Complex;
WHEREAS, the City of Brookings is eligible for Federal assistance concerning the
proposed project;
WHEREAS, with the submission of the Economic Development Administration Grant
preapplication, the City of Brookings assures and certifies that all progam requirements will be
fulfilled; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Brookings that Wayne Hauschild, Mayor, is hereby authorized to execute and file a preapplication
on behalf of the City of Brookings with the Economic Development Administration, US
Department of Commerce, to aid in the financing of the Ag Research Complex Project.
That the above named authorized representative is further authorized and directed to
furnish such information as the Economic Development Administration, US Department of
Commerce, may reasonably request in connection with the preapplication which is herein
authorized.
