AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE FINANCIAL AGREEMENT WITH
SOUTH DAKOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR PROJECTS PH 8006(26)
PCEMS 4537 AND PH 8006(27)PCEMS 4529 22ND AVENUE/ORCHARD DRIVE
SIGNALS AND 8TH STREET SOUTH PAVEMENT MARKINGS
BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Commission of the City of Brookings, to hereby
authorize the Mayor to sign the financial agreement to add signals and add left turn lanes at the
junction of Orchard Drive and 22nd Avenue and to upgrade signals at the junction of Medary
Avenue and 8th Street South and stripe 8th Street South from Main Avenue South east to 22nd
Avenue South in Brookings, South Dakota. The City will be responsible for paying ten (10)
percent of the cost of said projects as per the financial agreement.
Passed and approved this 9th day of April, 1996.
