RESOLUTION APPROVING WORKER'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE
PROGRAM WITH CRUM&FORSTER INSURANCE COMPANY
WHEREAS an examinati n h
o as been made and proposals have been accepted for the
City's Worker's Compensation insurance program; and
WHEREAS said examination identified the costs of the current Worker's Compensation
insurance vendor in relation to other vendor costs; and
WHEREAS said exam also identified the loss control programs available from each
Worker's Compensation insurance vendor; and
WHEREAS it has been found that cost savings can be realized and our loss control
program enhanced by changing to a different Worker's Compensation insurance vendor; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the City Commission to continue this relationship with the
Utility; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Brookings City Commission that the
Worker's Compensation insurance program using State of South Dakota statutory limits
provided by Crum&Forster Insurance Company as presented by Hawley-Long&Associates
dated October 15, 1997,be hereby approved.
