WHEREAS the Ci of Br i
, ty ��k ngs, thr�ugh its Inlustnal level�pment Fun1, is the
owner of Lot lA, 1B and 3 of Block 1 of Rainbow Addition consisting of approximately 4.7
acres and,
WHEREAS, the Brookings Economic Development Corporation has requested to utilize
4.3 acres for further development of the Rainbow Play Systems in Block 1 of Rainbow Addition,
AND,WHEREAS the 4.3 acres will be sold for a total price of$32,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to sign a
purchase agreement with Brookings Economic Development Corporation to transfer Lot 1B and
Lot 3 of Block 1 of Rainbow Addition to BEDC.
Passed and approved this 9th day of December, 1997.
