AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH THE
STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA FOR PROJECT PH 0014(00)422 PCEMS 313R(Intersection of
US 14 and 32"d Avenue)
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Brookings,to hereby
authorize the Mayor to sign the Funding Agreement to install concrete pavement on US Highway
14 to incorporate a left turn lane on the east bound lane and provide for a future turn lane on the
west bound lane and median crossover at 32"a Avenue, asphalt pavement on the approaches to
the highway, relocation of the south service road,removal of a portion of the north service roads,
and any needed drainage work. The City will be responsible for paying 22.22 percent of the cost
of said project.
Passed and approved this 18th day of November, 1997.
