WHEREAS, Miller Sellers and Heroux Architects Inc. have been retained by the City of
Brookings for the development of facilities for the proposed Brookings Agri-Plex and e�ibition center
and research center and
WHEREAS. proposals for additional services are needed as per the original contract and
WHEREAS, additional services request No. 8 has been verbally approved by the City and
County Commissions, at the specified cost of the attached records and to be made part of the original
contract and made a part therof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said addendum to the contract is hereby
approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute same with the architects accordingly.

WITH YOUR ACCEPTANCE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO THE CONTRACT SHALL BE APPROVED:
Add the County Offices to the existing A/E contract with the City of Brookings. The programming and schematics phases
have been completed and paid for. The fees for the remaining phases shall be integrated into the ongoing city project as
follows:

'The A/E fees will be divided into separate invoices delineating the portion of the total project allocable to: 1. The City (plus
one-half of the common toilets and adjoining break-out room) and 2. The County (plus one-half of the common toilets and
adjoining break-out room). The A/E will prepare bidding and construction documents so that the contracror's bid and
application for payments will be similarly delineated.
All other terms and conditions of the contract shall remain as previously agreed.
