WHEREAS, Miller Sellers and Heroux Architects Inc. have been retained by the City of
Brookings for the development of facilities for the proposed Brookings Agri-Plex and exhibition
center and research center and
WHEREAS Mayor Hauschild was authorized to sign a revision of the original contract
with said architect firm on May 13, 1997 and
WHEREAS the revision to the contract spelled out fixed fees for the six different phases
of the proposed project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor is authorized to approve the
design development phase and to further authorize the architects to move into the construction
documents phase.
Passed and approved this 17th day of June 1997,
