WHEREAS, Miller Sellers and Heroux Architects Inc. have been retained by the City of
Brookings for the development of facilities for the proposed Brookings Agri-Plex and exhibition
center and research center and
WHEREAS proposals for additional services are needed as per the original contract and
WI�REAS additional proposals No. 7 has been approved by the Agri-Plex design and
construction sub-committee and the interim manager, at the specified cost of performance on each
record to be attached to the original contract and made a part thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said addendums to the contract are hereby
approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute same with the architects accordingly.
Passed and approved this 17th day June, 1997.

WITH YOUR ACCEPTANCE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES TO THE CONTRACT SHALL BE APPROVED:
We have hired American Technical Services, Inc. to provide geotechnical services for the Agri-Plex Development. When
they anived on the site, the site was not accessible for their truck mounted drilling. In order to access the site and complete
their work, their rig will need to be towed between boring locations by a track vehicle. This additional cost is to hire the
personnel and equipment from a Brookings contractor to move the rig during the time it takes to complete the soil borings.
